Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Large
"My name is Sally, and I'm a 2-year-old female Lab mix. When I was rescued, I was a skinny girl and shy around people. Not anymore! I've become a favorite among the HOPE volunteers, who say I'm a super sweet, affectionate girl. I'm a people pleaser who will sit on command and wait politely for an ear scratch or a 'good girl!' I also enjoy a good game of fetch or tug-of-war. I love to run, so I would make a wonderful jogging companion! As far as other dogs, I would do best as an only pet or with a younger male who isn't dominant. Right now my 'roommate' is Val, and we get along quite well. I'm neat about my kennel, so I should be easy to house-train. Think I'm the right dog for you? Please call 985-859-5246."
HOPE for Animals' dog adoption fee is $100. This includes initial vaccinations and spay or neuter. All dogs adopted from HOPE must have a fenced yard. Other pets in the household must be spayed or neutered, and a good vet reference is required.
