German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Young : : Large
"My name is Daisy, and I'm a 1-year-old female German shepherd mix. Before HOPE rescued me, I lived in a small kennel because my former owner was pregnant and couldn't handle me. I'm now getting the care and attention I need. My humans have been working with me on obedience training. They say I know basic commands, and my manners have improved greatly since I've been here. I'm also crate-trained. I would do well with older children (say, 9 and up), and I love to play with other dogs. However, I like to chase cats, so I'll need a home without them. My humans say I'm a great girl who would make a wonderful companion. Still a puppy, I'll need a home where I can get lots of exercise. I'd make a great walking or jogging companion! Do we match? Please call 985-791-6517 or email nickibre@gmail.com." HOPE for Animals' dog adoption fee is $75. This includes initial vaccinations and spay or neuter. All dogs adopted from HOPE must have a fenced yard. Other pets in the household must be spayed or neutered, and a good vet reference is required.
