Please meet Juno…a 1 1/2 year old female German Shepherd.  Juno was found by her rescuer, in the middle of nowhere, very weak from hunger and thirst…so weak, she could barely lift her head. It is assumed that she had been abandoned there, possibly by her previous owners. When found, Juno had nasty rope/chain burns around her neck possibly from being tied or chained out (tethered).  Her neck is now beginning to heal nicely.Juno did test positive for heart worms and will be starting heart worm treatment soon.
