This is Roux! Roux is about 20 lbs and only 6 months old! He's from Mamou in Evangeline Parish where he was found as a stray as he was searching around a deli for a stray sandwich.

This little guy has a size delusion as he thinks he is a big dog. That doesn't stop him from playing with any dogs of any size/age/gender. Despite his big dog dreams, we don't believe Roux will be getting much larger. Roux is really just a sweet boy when he leaps into your lap to be pet and likes to be held as much as he likes to run around the yard. Roux is super playful and loves meet many people as he searches for his forever home and hopefully he'll have more luck finding it than that sandwich.

 

Roux is heartworm negative and has been neutered. 

 

All HOPE for Animal dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, spay/neutered, healthy and currently taking/have taken heartworm preventative.
